For many years, when another drummer was in the crowd, drummer of Incognito Jeff Gilpin would come out from behind the drums and sing “Ain’t Talking ‘Bout Love.” The crowd would go wild and many complimented how much he sounded like David Lee Roth. In 2016, Incognito decided to make this into an entire show and out came In Halen. In 2017 they did an unrehearsed show with some new members and nailed down the final line-up for what can only be called a Dallas Tribute Band supergroup.

Love and Theft burst onto the scene in 2009 with the Top 10 hit “Runaway.” That breakthrough success set the stage for their debut album World Wide Open, which also produced the hit single “Dancing In Circles.” After a move from the Disney-affiliated Carolwood label to RCA, Stephen and Eric scored their first #1 single with “Angel Eyes,” which was featured on Love and Theft’s self-titled second album, along with the hits “Runnin’ Out of Air” and “If You Ever Get Lonely.”
Whiskey On My Breath—the duo’s third album—marks a significant creative statement for the two singer-songwriter-guitarists, whose resume already includes a long series of career highlights. Having already established themselves as one of country’s hottest young acts for their widely acclaimed albums World Wide Open and Love and Theft, the ACM/CMA/CMT-nominated twosome take their music to the next level on Whiskey On My Breath.
Indeed, Whiskey On My Breath makes it apparent how far the duo—who’ve both become husbands and fathers in the six years since they began their recording career—have traveled, and demonstrates that they’re in for the long haul. “We feel more strongly about this record than anything we’ve ever done,” Eric concludes. “Whatever happens, we’ve made a record that we both love and that we can both stand behind, and that’s a great feeling.”
Mark McKinney likes to keep the people guessing. Considered by Texas music fans to be a powerhouse of a songwriter and entertainer, McKinney’s wide range of musical influences are clearly evident in his highly original songs- ranging from emotion and lyric rich Americana songs; to rowdy country anthems; to delicately crafted love songs. A west Texas native, Mark moved to Austin, Texas in the 90s and has since been quite comfortable living in the live music capital of the world. In the summer of 2006, Mark released his first solo album, “Get It On” and hit the road touring full time.
With four studio albums, Fourteen Top 10 hits on the Texas Country Charts, an ever-growing fan base, and favorite entertainer of the Texas music scene, Mark McKinney is a force to be reckoned with and has no plans of slowing down any time soon.
